WMultisite is oveloaded

hey guys we have a multisite setup on a high end server (we host the servers on our datacenter) curently with 20 sites and we have seen that the wp install show as a exhausted memory – the usual cant allocate xx bytes (even the memory on php.ini is on 512M)

any advice on how we can optimize it?

WordPress memory usage exceeded 128 MB

WordPress peak memory usage: 450.94 MB

Number of database queries: 3153

    Hey YourNextHost.

    What are you trying to do when you get these memory issues?

    Downloading files through PHP like MarketPress does when items are purchased could affect your memory. Other plugins could do this here.

    When you memory is peaking what processes are running on the server? Whats using the most? Any specific file?

    Could it be plugin related? Perhaps deactivate them all and keep testing until you find the issue cropping back up.

    I don’t see any memory errors there?

    Whats this plugin:

    wp-content/mu-plugins/upgrades-framework.php

    Looks like there might be a rogue space in the code. You could remove the file and test again.

    Just came across this thread while debugging and thought I would leave this here

    Yah, I got the same error with upgrades framework.. probably a blank line before or after a php tag somewhere it shouldn’t be…

    I believe that is an old version of the wpmu dev upgrade notification plugin… remove that and install new copy in /wp-plugins/ not /mu-plugins/
