[Forminator Pro] selection drop down

to choose a website that someone may be inquiring about for a security.txt protocol. I plan on sending them to one form on one website that they can choose which site is the problem. Similiar to selecting a country or state selections.

    Hi Robert,

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help.

I noticed you’ve opened this as a feature request, but it sounds like what you’re after may already be possible. From your description, it looks like you’re trying to add a dropdown to your form that lets visitors choose which of your websites they’re enquiring about, so each submission records the relevant site.

You can already do this with Forminator’s Select field. The country and state dropdowns you’ve seen are part of the built-in Address field, but for a custom list of your own websites, the Select field is the right choice. I tested this on a form on my side, and it works as expected.

    To set it up:
    – Click + Insert Form Fields and choose the Select field.
    – Open the field settings and set the Label, for example, “Which website is this about?”
    – Under Options, add each of your websites as a separate option. The Label is what visitors will see, while the Value is what gets stored with the submission (for example, the domain name).
    – Leave the field set to single selection so it displays as a dropdown, then save the form.

Once the form is published, the selected website will be stored with each submission. You can view it in the form’s Submissions page, and you can also include it in your email notifications by adding the field’s merge tag so the selected website appears in the email you receive.
You can find more details about the Select field and its available options here:

If this isn’t quite what you had in mind, please let us know. If you could share a small example of what you’re trying to achieve, we’d be happy to pass it along to our product team as a feature request.

    Kind regards,
    Farhad Asif
