G’day there Premium users,

We’re gonna be giving WPMU DEV Premium a bit a facelift in the next month or so and as part of that we’d just love to share some testimonials from current members with potential new members.

So… if you like WPMU DEV Premium, could you let us know why you do and/or how you use our services and/or anything else you’d like to say?

Also, please provide your name and a site of your choice that you’d like us to link to as a credit.

And, to thank you for taking time out to talk to us, we’ll be throwing in ***a free one year (or membership extension)*** to one lucky user who gets drawn out of a hat full of contributors to this thread.

Thanks guys!

James

About 2 years ago I tried to host thousands of blogs by deploying MU on **.com, after I got about 3500 blogs in 6 months, I realised the difficulty of managing a single-database-installed MU and finally left me no choice but closed new registration. Last December I decided to try the multi-db script solution on my new hosting service, and it’s much more easier to manage and back up database now, I really wish I would have known premium wpmudev 2 years ago.

I started my new blog hosting service Blogger.ie today, a fresh install with those latest plugins from vvpmudev.com/ . Just about 3 hours ago I renewed my account and get the latest multi-db script. It’s easy to install and developers here are very helpful, I always get their email reply within 10 minutes (perhaps I’m lucky all the time~). I think the best architecture solution would be MU + MULTI-DB + SuperCache.

Alright – so I’m a newbie. My brother is the techie guy. We’re starting a social networking site for friends and family since after college and graduate school we all moved back to our own states, cities, and what not. I’m a business guy – I know nothing about php and ssh, dedicated servers. It wasn’t until I found bp, wpmu, and all the cool stuff it can do; but getting the support, this is where wpmudev.org comes in.

I get my forum posts answered and I get pointed into the right direction. My site now is able to function like how it’s supposed to function. Now to aggregate people to it.

Thanks for the help and support and I’m sure I’ll need more I move into the multi-db thing…

I have only been a member of the wpmudev.org for a few months and the support has been great. They have answered any questions i have had promptly and offer great support. They have the loads of great plugins and themes that have enhanced the functionality of my WordPress Mu site. The different themes they offer have have really cut down on my development time because i don’t need to go out and test new themes.

We are using WordPressMU for about 18 months already. We did a big bulk of work on customizing it for our needs.

wpmudev.org premium turned out to be *real* gold mine of useful add-ons for us. Plus we always follow lots of interesting discussions on their forums.

Premium support is quick and friendly, offers and suggestions they gladly share are of *great* value.

Keep up the good work, guys! We highly appreciate your invaluable efforts.

I’ve been a WPMU Dev Premium subscriber for 3 or 4 months. I joined for 2 of the premium plugins and then was going to cancel before my 1st renewal “thinking that $50 is quite pricey”.

After about 2 weeks, I realized that my development was moving more quickly. I tracked it back to the quality of the Premium themes and plugins that I was using that added stability to my sites. Also, the Premium Forum members are quite professional with answers and directions based on experience and accomplishments.

I am not a coder, but I am learning out of necessity and WPMU Dev Premium membership saves me 3 or 4 hours each week pointing me in solutions based directions that save me time and frustration.

The bottom line is that for me, my WPMU DEV Premium Subscription is one of the few places where the value that I receive far exceeds what I pay each month.

From my point of view, WPMU DEV Premium has got great software products and nice customer service, so please just keep going and maintain the branches of these plugins. You are already the No.1 in this niche market (WPMU customization) and I’ve checked your traffic status on Alexa:

    30.8% United States

    8.9% Germany *

    8.1% India

    5.6% South Africa

    4.9% China *

    4.8% United Kingdom

    3.9% Indonesia

    2.5% Italy *

    2.3% Australia

    2.0% Sweden *

    2.0% Turkey

    1.8% Canada

    1.6% Spain

    1.6% Papua New Guinea

    1.2% Russia *

    1.1% Netherlands

    1.1% Japan

    0.9% France

    0.8% Albania

    0.7% Thailand

    0.7% Finland

    12.7% OTHER

A brief introduction in their own language would be an advantage, and it might be a good idea to implement a general localization for this project on the front page and for some of those great plugins.

    Good luck!

We joined this site as complete and absolute “ROOKIES” who could barely figure out how to put up a standard wordpress blog and we were definitely in way over our heads even attempting an “MU” site”…We would not have been able to create a single MU site if it had not been for Premium Wpmudev.(We now have a number of them!) Andrew has been right there for us with a solution everytime we had a question! (Doesn’t he EVER sleep? LOL!)Just the forum alone is worth more than the membership fees….

I struggled with paying the full-year subscription fee when setting up my first WordPress MU install. But I bit the bullet and am so glad I did! The Supporter plugin alone was well worth it. But we’re now running many Premium plugins to make our sites better.

The fast and thorough support provided by Andrew and the WPMU Dev Premium team, and other Premium members is priceless. The forums are an excellent source of help, advice and feedback. And the Getting Started videos add incredible value to our members. Thank you!

When I first found WPMU Dev I was hesitant about paying for the service. Coming from a different Internet world I had never had to worry about hard to find, or expensive plugins for every step of everything I wanted a program to do before.

I quickly realized that joining WPMU Dev was by far one of the best choices I ever made!

I am even going to be using them to set up a new blogging and social site at politicallygrounded.com and know that I am in the best hands that are available in the WordPressMU world!

With the forums and the great people you will not find more professional and nice help any where around to help get you going, and to help you keep things the way they need to be for a successful site.
